More Than Enough

more than Enough

Hey Love!

If we’re honest… the holidays can bring out the very best in us and the "very most" in us. And if you’ve ever entered Christmas week feeling tired, emotional, stretched thin, or one burnt pan away from a meltdown (welcome, doll, you’re in good company. 😧)

Trust me when I say, I've been accused of "doing the most" more times than I can count.

There were years where I felt anything but enough.
The house wasn’t “clean enough.”
The decorations weren’t “cute enough.”
The gifts weren’t “thoughtful enough.”
The food wasn’t “good enough” (shoutout to my infamous Mac n’ Cheese of 2009 — may that pan rest in peace).

I’d try to create the perfect moment… while quietly praying no one complained, no one compared, and no one noticed how close I was to tapping out entirely.

And then — somewhere between the exhaustion, pressure, and people-pleasing, God whispered the simplest, most freeing reminder:

“Daughter, you are more than enough because I AM enough for you.”

  • Not because you nailed the menu (or mac n' cheese)
  • Not because you kept the peace (or someone else disturbed yours)
  • Not because you made the magic happen
  • Not because everyone was happy (because let's face it, is there ever a time that everyone is happy?

But because His strength meets every place you feel poured out.

His grace fills every gap, every task, every circumstance that you cannot. Because you were never designed to do it in your effort. Not for a moment.

His presence is the TRUE gift you carry into every room you enter.

So if you’re hosting with trembling hands… If you’re praying for patience and quiet places to breathe… If you’re feeling overwhelmed, under-appreciated, or simply done

Hear this deeply:

You are still more than enough.

Because God is IN you has never been lacking.

Rest in that truth this week.
Let it lift your shoulders.
Let it soften the expectations.
Let it remind you that the Savior you celebrate is also the One who strengthens you.

📖 Scripture of the Week

2 Corinthians 12:9

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”

Matthew 11:28

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

🕊 Tip of the Week: A Simple Christmas Reset

When stress rises, step away for 60 seconds — even if you must hide in your closet or bathroom — and pray these four words:

“Jesus, be my strength.”

You’ll feel the shift instantly.

🙏 Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being more than enough when I'm feel overwhelmed or under-equipped.
Forgive me for the moments when I've centered the holiday around perfection instead of Your presence.
Fill the empty places in my heart with Your peace.
Strengthen me where I feel weak.
Steady my heart when I feel stretched.
Cover every moment of this season with Your joy and grace.
In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
